Paghahanda para sa Reunion

Ang magaganap na hayskul reunion sa Linggo, ika-25 ng Nobyembre 2012 ay naglalayong pagsama-samahin ang mga nagsipagtapos sa Olongapo City National High School noong 2002 at magbalik-tanaw sa mga kaganapan sampung taon na ang nakakaraan. 

Halo-halo ang emosyon sa pag-attend sa reunion. Karamihan kasi sa atin, iba na ang itsura ngayon sa yearbook picture natin, pero ayos lang yun. Parte yan ng buhay. Nakakatawang isipin na may mga hindi ka makikilala sa reunion na dati mong kabarkada noong hayskul at ganun din naman sila sa iyo dahil nga sa laki ng pagbabago. Maaring feeling mo hindi ka pa successful gaya ng inaasahan mo, pero wag mo itong gawing batayan. Kasi, hindi lahat ng batchmates mo eh naging presidente ng malaking kumpanya, o ambassador sa ibang bansa. Marami rin ang nagsisimula pa lang. Maging proud ka sa accomplishment ng mga ka-batch mo, at i-share mo rin kung ano man ang narating mo. 

Marami ang gusto ka lang makasama at makakwentuhan. Marami dyan gusto ipakita sa iyo ang picture ng mga anak nila, o ikwento ang mga experiences nila nung College. Nakakatawa ring isipin na kabatchmate mo pala yung dati mong katrabaho, o ang iyong "special someone" eh makikilala mo na 10 years after graduation. 

Isang paalaala. Ang reunion ay hindi payabangan. Totoong may kuwentuhan sa mga na-achieve sa buhay, pero kahit sino, hindi gustong makasama ang mahahangin. Do not pretend to be someone you are not. Ipakilala mo ang sarili mo at ibahagi kung ano ang mahahalaga sa iyo at mas matatanggap ka ng mga kabatchmate mo. Maging realistic ka lang sa mga expectations mo. 

Ang mga bagay na magandang dalhin sa reunion ay ang mga sumusunod: mga lumang pictures noong highschool, family pictures at camera. Magsuot ng kumportableng damit para maka-focus sa event. 

Kapag umattend ka ng reunion, sinisigurado ko na isa ito sa mga i-te-treasure mong experience. Nostalgic in a way na makikita mo ulit ang mga pamilyar na mukha na kasama mo noon sa kulitan, tawanan at kalokohan. Isa rin itong paraan para magkaroon ng mga bagong kaibigan. Ang reunion ay isang masayang pagkakataon upang mag-reminisce, makibalita at makakilala ng bagong kaibigan. Isa lang ang requirement naming mga representatives sa lahat ng dadalo: Enjoy! :)

Meeting Minutes November 4, 2012

I. Call to Order 

Ms. Rossan Rubrico called to order the regular meeting of the OCNHS Batch 2002 at 10:00 AM on November 4, 2012 in McDonald’s Harbor Point.

II.  Roll Call

Based on the Facebook Invitation for the Event page and additional information from reps, we are still anticipating 100 more batchmates come November 25. For guests, we are anticipating the new OCNHS principal, Mr. Leo de Guzman and Mrs. Helen Aggabao, Mrs. Fe Porras and 15 of our advisers. The list also includes our sponsors namely:Councilor Tet Marzan, Gav Center, Bluehouse Management Consultancy, Subic.com and GotoPhilippines.com. We have yet to hear from our other sponsors.  

Agenda 2:  Turn-over of Donations

 The finance team received P11,231.55 of donations from the following batchmates. Rodel Deville, Benson Castro, Xydie Mae Timbas-Castro, Michelle Guiang and Eugeric Cuevas. 

We are still waiting for other sponsors to give their pledges before our event. On November 23, a list of sponsors will be presented on the blogsite and the batch page. 

Agenda 3: Returned Printed Tshirts

Ordered last November 4 and November 11, 20 printed Batch Shirts are returned to their respective owners. 

Agenda 4: Catering

A 75% downpayment for 200 pax catering was received by Mr. Alvin Lazaro, our caterer. A contract was signed by two of our finance representatives namely: Ms. Anielou Gelacio, our finance head, and Mr. Christopher John Asaro Jr., as well as the promotions head, Ms. Rossan Rubrico. A remaining balance of P5,500 will be paid on the event day. 

Agenda 5: Events Team

Head of events team, Ms. Czerlene Razal, received P7000 to pay for the venue decorations as well as prizes for the games on our event.Venue preparation will be a 2-day event, November 24 afternoon and November 25 morning. 

Agenda 6: Tables and Chairs

Tables and chairs were already ordered good for 200 persons.  There is also a table for the guests, and for the registration. 

Agenda 7: Registration

A step-by-step procedure on how to register for our event will be posted during the week. So keep posted. 

 Agenda 8: Election of officers

As part of the batch's project, the representatives are aiming for the batch to be registered under Security and Exchange Commission (SEC). There will be a presentation of vision and mission statements as well as an election of officers.

Q: Kelan ang reunion, anong oras at saan?
A: Sa November 25 Linggo 2PM hanggang 9PM sa OCNHS Bleachers. 


Q: Tuloy ba ang Reunion kapag umulan?

A: Tuloy na tuloy. Covered Court na ang Bleachers.  

Q: Saan at magkano ang tickets?
A: Sa mga wala pang tickets, meron sa Registration Desk sa entrance ng bleachers sa November 25. P300 ang bawat isa. Hanapin lamang si Roselle para maka-avail ng ticket. 

Q: Pwede bang magsama?
A: Dinidiscourage namin ang pagsama ng hindi ka-batchmate. Kung hindi maiiwasan, lalo na ang mga anak, required rin pong bayaran ninyo sila ng ticket, sa parehong halaga, P300 bawat isa. 

Q: May dress code ba?
A: Kung meron kang napagawang Batch shirt, mas maganda kung ito ang suotin mo. Kung wala casual attire lang po. 

Q: Saan ako pwede umorder ng Tshirt?
A: Sa ngayon, itinigil po muna namin ang pagkuha ng order sa Tshirt. Kung gusto po talaga ninyong magpagawa, maaari po kayong pumunta sa Angel Touche sa City Square at hanapin si Richard Omania. Mayroon po siyang kopya ng template. Pero depende po sa mapag-uusapan ninyo kung magkano ang Tshirt. Iba na po ang presyo kumpara sa naunang naipost.
